About

RIPE Atlas is the RIPE NCC’s main Internet data collection system. It is a global network of hardware devices, called probes and anchors, that actively measure Internet connectivity. Anyone can access this data via Internet traffic maps, streaming data visualisations, and an API. RIPE Atlas users can also perform customised measurements to gain valuable data about their own networks.

We develop RIPE Atlas in cooperation with the Internet community. Find out which features have been requested, what we’re currently working on, what we’ve recently delivered, and our future plans.

See a map of the current RIPE Atlas network, get statistics about the number of RIPE Atlas users, and find out how many measurements are currently running.

We develop RIPE Atlas in cooperation with the Internet community, and we want to know what you think. Find out how to get in touch.
