UI/API changes ​

Code refactor ​

Complete refactor of the frontend code (all TypeScript, cleaner structure, duplicate and dead code removed, typed API modules) and new automated test system put in place.

New features ​

  • Account switching: switching accounts in RIPE NCC Access updates open Atlas tabs without a reload.
  • Dashboard cards keep their place when made wide or narrow, and the dashboard shows at once on return.
  • "Worldwide" region for probe selection and "Area" is gone.
  • Khipu DNS exports fully decoded (question, RCODE, NSID, all records), one row per resolver.

UI tweaks or improvements ​

  • Login: a banner with "Try again" when your account can't load; pages update after automatic login/logout.
  • Dashboard probe and measurement cards harmonised with the full lists.
  • Credits page: Spending / day and Income / day chips (replacing a misleading net "credits / hour").
  • Use-case URLs match their sidebar titles; old links redirect.
  • European date style and fixed English number format (1,234.5) everywhere.
  • Khipu: anchor targets in popups link to their probe page.
  • Probes list: two-letter country code (name on hover), so it sorts sensibly.
  • Results list: flag plus country code, narrower Country column; error rows show "ERROR", message on hover.
  • Manage tab: clearer Remove / Add / Top-up toggles, Stop last; "Remove all abandoned" gone (now automatic).
  • QuickLook and Multipath Visualisation: spinner at once while your last measurement loads; QuickLook opens it sooner.
  • Multipath Visualisation draws its graph about 10s sooner.
  • Consistent fullscreen across DomainMON, Khipu, Path Divergence, Region Meshes and LatencyMON.
  • Country dropdowns match codes (DE) and ignore accents (curacao).
  • Faster Khipu DNS filtering.
  • API keys: "Permissions" instead of "Grants".
  • Internet maps: too-old dates open at the earliest data, with a note.
  • Create form: Include/Exclude Tags lists are searchable.

Bug fixes ​

  • Login: logging in updates your other tabs; an expired session no longer loses a free-credits claim.
  • Security: probe descriptions and table cells sanitised, more values escaped, CSP tightened.
  • Dates: date pickers no longer shift a day outside UTC; Path Analysis link times fixed (some showed 1970); no "NaN undefined NaN" handover date.
  • Unknown countries show a globe, not a blank flag or "Europe".
  • Plain-text fields accept <; only HTML tags are rejected.
  • Create form: tags cleared with country spread; your description no longer overwritten; clear errors (no "undefined").
  • Reuse and clone: reuse asks for the real probe count (never −1 or 1); clones keep Region and Countries sets.
  • Overview: correct Mean RTT, NTP offsets, NSID matching, wildcard cert tags, private-IP detection and "days until exhausted".
  • Measurement page: "Not a valid measurement ID." for unknown IDs; no empty Ownership box for non-owners.
  • Traceroutes: hops that couldn't send show as * instead of disappearing.
  • QuickLook / Multipath: never stuck on "Loading measurement..."; "No results" and error states; retry when results don't come back.
  • QuickLook card and legends: no stray late results after Reset; popups stay on screen; no double counts; "No Reply" counted correctly.
  • Popups: stay by their marker, close when leaving the page, copy without button labels.
  • Khipu: ASN paths, duplicates and ICMP errors in popups; "Nothing to export" for an empty filter.
  • Khipu DNS: readable DNSSEC, MX and TXT; SOA and DNSKEY shown; path filter and anycast flags fixed.
  • Instance maps: past dates load their own data; 28-day limit; IPv6 ASNs in search; root-server regions corrected.
  • Maps: searching for a place zooms to fit the whole area, not one point.
  • Probe and anchor pages: bandwidth limit kept on save; static IPv6/DNS network settings; no crash on bad-firmware tags; anchor IPv6 change requests work.
  • Lists: paging keeps sort and order; page sizes, filters and Mine links fixed.
  • Dashboard layout: right wide/narrow button on large screens; layout survives Preferences, hiding cards and slow loads.
  • Dashboard cards: Events card past events and namesakes; Quick Start network cached.
  • Credits: "Next Claim: Now" (not 1970); voucher and standing-order errors handled; Back shows History.
  • DomainMON: stepper, add/stop servers, counts, TCP-only embeds and fullscreen fixed; result dialog shows DNS at once and the right cell.
  • Probe Connectivity: correct sort direction; place names with & or #; tag filter for today.
  • Region Meshes: fullscreen grid shows its last row.
  • Anchor Mesh Status: skips or marks decommissioned anchors and dead IPv6.
  • Statistics: IPv4/IPv6 prefix pie slices select their probes on the coverage map; all five months shown; correct months west of UTC; member anchors linked and marked as yours.
  • Anchor lists: failed pages retried; incomplete lists never cached.
